Thom Browne and ASICS have wrapped their debut sneaker collaboration, releasing all three colorways of a reworked GEL-Kayano 14 that marks the first time the New York designer has teamed with an outside athletic brand.

The Premium Grey and Triple Black pairs launched March 2, with the Triple White completing the set on March 23, according to Sneaker News. All three retail at $450 and are available through ASICS.com and ThomBrowne.com.

The collection was first previewed on the Fall 2026 runway at San Francisco's Legion of Honor during GQ Bowl weekend, which coincided with Super Bowl LX, per GQ. The all-grey colorway anchored the runway walk, and ASICS Sportstyle ambassador Stefon Diggs wore the grey pair at the GQ Bowl event. Even ahead of the show, Teyana Taylor's eldest daughter was spotted on the grey carpet in the sneakers.

Design-wise, each shoe carries thick embroidered piping, zig-zag cross-stitching across the ASICS side stripe, and Browne's red, white, and blue grosgrain flag at the heel pull tab and tongue. The grey and black versions use premium suede uppers; the white opts for a smooth leather and mesh blend. Each pair ships with two sets of laces: one metal-tipped in red, white, and blue, and one two-toned set referencing the shoe's athletic roots, as detailed by WWD.

Browne told Highsnobiety that the GEL-Kayano 14 was "the perfect running shoe" he used growing up, and that the silhouette is the one most people instantly associate with the brand. On his design direction, he said: "I wanted to showcase the groundwork of what you see in my tailoring amongst their perfected design in a way that felt true to me — this is why you see classic tailoring finishes, my signature grosgrain detailing and fabrics true to my brand. [It] looks just as good at the office as it does on the field."

Colin Brickley, director of sales at ASICS Sportstyle, called the result "a collection that feels both elevated and authentic, where performance innovation meets modern luxury in a way that only this partnership can deliver," per WWD.

As for whether another ASICS project is coming, Browne kept it open-ended: "You'll have to wait and see. But only with ASICS, of course." The GEL-Kayano 14 originally debuted in 2008, resurfaced in 2020, and has since become one of the more sought-after silhouettes for designer tie-ups.
