The Welcome 2 Collegrove co-rapper was attending Miami's Art Basel when he was hit by a vehicle Saturday morning.

UPDATED 12/11, 3:15 p.m. ET: 2 Chainz is recovering after a scary car accident that took place Saturday morning, per TMZ. Two days after the incident, the 46-year-old shared an Instagram update of the car that impacted his vehicle, along with a video of him boarding a private jet.

“This [is] the car that hit us from behind. Praise God for the blessings," 2 Chainz wrote. "Things could have been worse, but it wasn’t. [I] don’t wanna pity party, but I do appreciate every single person that checked up on me,” 2 Chainz shared. “Sometimes, someone in my position don’t feel like the love [is] real or maybe it’s [a] mind thing, but I truly felt the love, and don’t worry ’bout me, I’m good.”

The rapper was attending Art Basel in Miami when he was about to exit I-95 and his vehicle was hit by a Tesla. According to sources, the cops are speculating that the other driver was intoxicated at the time of the collision.

Following the incident, 2 Chainz posted a video of himself on a stretcher inside the ambulance truck. Sources are saying that the Welcome 2 Collegrove co-rapper suffered from neck injuries and had left Miami strip club Booby Trap shortly before the crash.

As we await more information from the crash, 2 Chainz last appeared on an episode of the podcast Rap Radar, where he commended 50 Cent for his contribution as narrator on Welcome 2 Collegrove. “I had this whole thing in my head about trailers and chaos and mayhem like, ‘What the hell they got going on?’" the 46-year-old artist said. "So I hit him and he did it for me. I mean it didn’t take long. He killed it on the first take as far as knowing how to breathe, the spaces. Just little stuff that us as creatives that I just wanted."

2 Chainz will also be a featured performer on A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop, which airs 8:30 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on Sunday, Dec. 10 on CBS.
