Plain White T's brought a packed Stone Pony Summer Stage to a singalong Friday night, closing out their opening set with "Hey There Delilah" for a crowd of roughly 4,500 in Asbury Park, NJ.
The June 19 show was the second of two consecutive-weekend New Jersey stops on Yellowcard's Up Up Down Down Tour, with New Found Glory also co-opening both nights. The five-hour event ran from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM and was part of the North to Shore festival programming, according to WOBM.
Plain White T's ran an 8-track set consistent with what the band played across the tour's run. The group opened with "Feeling (More Like) Myself" before cycling through "Hate (I Really Don't Like You)," "Would You Even," "Anything 4 U," "1, 2, 3, 4," and "Rhythm of Love," then closed on back-to-back gut-punches: "Hey There Delilah" and "Our Time Now." The songs drew from five distinct eras of the band's catalog, including their 2023 self-titled release and fan staples from Every Second Counts and Big Bad World.
The North to Shore event listing previewed what most of the crowd was likely there for, noting that the Chicago outfit would "have the entire crowd singing Hey There Delilah under the stars."
The Aquarian Weekly, which covered the June 12 date at the same venue, gave both supporting acts their due.
"Openers Plain White T's and New Found Glory also deserve special credit for fitting the bill flawlessly," the outlet wrote. "It was the perfect way to set the stage for the show to come. Both bands have a strong stage presence and were able to capture the crowd's full attention."
The tour, which Yellowcard announced in December 2025, ran from May 6 in Atlanta through a June 20 finale in Springfield, MA. A band Instagram post for the run described the lineup as celebrating "more than 2 decades of friendship" among the three acts.
Plain White T's are next scheduled to perform July 4 at Point State Park in Pittsburgh, with an Australia run set for October and November, per the band's official site.
